Sunday, February 11
Yoga for Healing
Learn conscious breathing and posture to heal yourself with the therapeutic practice of Hatha Yoga. Bring your aches and pains to class. Special attention will be given to spine, lower back, neck, and shoulder issues.
Dates: February 11 – March 22 (no class 2/18)
Time: 9:30 AM – 11 AM (Sundays), 5:45 PM – 6:45 PM (Tuesdays and Thursdays)
Fee: $79 for six-week session, or pay drop-in fee of $10/class

Getting Started in Digital Photography
This is an ideal class if you are new to digital photography or would like a refresher course in photography. Learn how to get accurate focus, set white balance, control sharpness, adjust exposure, choose ISO, and use your camera to make better photographs of favorite subjects.

Retirement Made Easy
Learn time-tested financial principles that can be applied to a variety of financial situations. You’ll receive the latest facts and figures on retirement planning, and benefit from visual aids and handouts that are easy to understand.

Dealing with the Difficult Employee
You will learn how to handle situations skillfully and deal with individual personalities and problem behavior. You will also learn how to immediately address key issues, use emotional intelligence, make steady progress, and avoid costly mistakes.

Meditation – Training the Mind, The Meditation Practice and Preliminaries
The instructions on training the mind were given directly to the great 12th century master Geshe Chekhawa by Buddha. Geshe Chekhawa then wrote a beautiful poem entitled “Universal Compassion, Seven Points of Training the Mind.” The first part of this poem will be broken down into practical meditations on freeing the mind from anger, jealousy and false pride.

Beginning Guitar
Playing the guitar is an enjoyable and relaxing way to enrich your life with music. Experience interaction with other beginning guitarist in a supportive small group environment. Learn to play easy chords, fun melodies, strumming styles, and many popular songs.

Beginning Ukulele
Just one strum of the ukulele brings on a smile. Enjoy learning how to play the world’s easiest string instrument in a supportive small group setting. Learn simple chords, easy melodies, strumming styles, fingerpicking, and a wide assortment of great songs.

Thursday, February 15
Mobile DJ Series – Beginning
Students will learn how to correctly utilize the important components of the sound system, including speakers, mixing board, computer, and microphone. This course will also include instruction on how to properly cue music beat mix.
