Due to COVID-19\, this year's highly anticipated art event of the season will be held via Zoom on Saturday\, May 16 and will feature over 100 artists from around the world who have donated their art "anonymously" by signing the work on the reverse. Guests will bid on what they love and go home with exciting new works of art. Various musical performances\, interviews with contributing artists\, and other fun surprises will also take place during this virtual event. The funds raised throughout the evening will benefit programs of the Center\, which teach students\, both young and young of heart\, to nurture the creative genius that exists in all of us. The Auction's Private Preview will be held from 6:45 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and will be followed by the Main Event from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Those taking part in the Private Preview will be the first participants to have the ability to "Red Dot" works of art on the Big "E" wall. Red Dots are essentially a "Buy It Now" option on the items at the auction. This year there are three Red Dot "Buy It Now" levels\, $350\, $750\, and $2000. As long as the artwork has not been bid over the Red Dot amount\, guests may use their Red Dot at the specified level to stop bidding. Guests must register in order to bid and win silent auction items.
