SUMMARY:Get Creative with Storytime at Cilek Kids Room!
DESCRIPTION:Get ready for some creative family fun at SOCO + The OC Mix! In a partnership with the Chuck Jones Center for Creativity\, Cilek Kids Room at SOCO will be holding monthly Storytime events from July through October. These hour-long interactive activations will feature live music\, dance\, and storytelling with each Storytime event finishing with a parent and child activity that relates to the subject of the story told. Once Storytime is complete\, families are invited to the SOCO Farmers' Market to take part in a tasting tour with Market Bucks-tokens that can be spent on anything inside the market. The first Storytime event will take place on Saturday\, July 27 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. inside Cilek Kids Room and will feature a Goodnight Moon reading along with bunny puppet making. The programming for each Storytime date will change each month\, so be sure to follow SOCO + The OC Mix on Instagram (@socoandtheocmix) or visit the upcoming programs section on the Chuck Jones Center for Creativity website (link below) for updates.
