DESCRIPTION:The Orange Coast Aquatics Club (OCAC) Inc. is gearing up and looking for swimmers of all ages and abilities. During the season\, each child will be instructed to swim all four of the competitive strokes correctly. The program de-emphasizes competition and concentrates on fun and improvement instead of winning. Our slogan is "If you can swim the width of the pool by yourself\, you are perfect for the team."\n\nSeason Fee:\n\nShort Season: June 25   August 2\, $305\n\nAll-Star Championship meet on August 4\n\nFee for the entire season includes:\n\n	Swimsuit\n	T-shirt\n	Individual trophy\n	Team picture\n	Practices 4 days/week (Monday   Thursday)\n	Swim meets with ribbons throughout the summer\n\nTimes: Monday   Thursday: June 25   August 2 (no class July 4)\n\n4:45 PM   5:15 PM (Ages 5 & 6)\n\n5:15 PM   6 PM (Ages 7 and up)\n\n\n\nIMPORTANT FOR FIRST-TIME SWIM TEAMERS:\n\nTo be on the Orange Coast Swim Team\, children must be able to swim the width of the pool (50 feet) comfortably and without help. Often kids who are swimming like fish at the end of the summer are rusty and uncertain after a winter off. If you think your child needs a tune up before the first day of team practice\, call us at (949) 548-5668 and set up a few private lessons.
