DESCRIPTION:Basic Knife Skills Workshop\n\nLearn how to chop and dice safely\, while eating as you go. You'll learn which knives you really need\, what their purpose is\, and how to use them properly. Knife skills are critical in the kitchen and this class will teach basic skills to give you that cutting-edge technique. This is a great class for people with limited experience who are looking to improve their kitchen skills. Knife care\, sharpening and honing\, selection\, and manufacturing are also covered. Students bring their own chef knives. Students will work with square and half-round wires to securely encase cabochons.
