     To reduce trauma and depression during this Covid-19 and "the stay in home" order, we have designed an online Zoom platform, Dance Instruction Classes for ages (2 to Senior Adults).

    Because of philanthropy, we have been able to face the COVID-19 pandemic head-on. But needs continue to arise.
    As we look ahead, the generosity of the community will play a critical role in helping children and caregivers endure and recover from this crisis.

We are making the necessary steps to be able to continue providing affordable and immediate mental health services. Starting 3/23/20 we will be offering sliding scale teletherapy appointments.

    Your small donation could make a big difference to a Shalimar family. 
    All funds will be distributed  to help families with their most needed items--food (canned/produce/bread/dairy), baby formula & diapers, and cleaning supplies(any soap/wipes).

  • Assistance League of Newport-Mesa

    Member volunteers are transforming the lives of the children and their families.  During the pandemic shutdown we are providing food for a local food pantry  that is supporting 120 families.  We have adopted a few families with extreme need in the Newport Mesa Unified School district to help with food and clothing.
