Description
This class is appropriate for anyone with a general working knowledge of screenwriting, whether they have taken the Introduction to Screenwriting class or not. Students continue the knowledge gained in the Introductory Class as they flesh out and continue working on their scripts. Structure, theme, characterization, writing techniques, marketing, and many other aspects of screenwriting are covered in detail. This is a writer’s room-type of workshop with group-critiquing of student scripts. Students will also watch (at home) and break down a movie (in class) each week. Lectures on various aspects of the movie industry are presented.
