Description
Discover the art and craft of screenwriting, from concept to first original idea, and transform it to screenwriting form. Each week, students will watch movies at home, which will be discussed in class. Structure, characterization, and plot will be talked about, and students will also write and critique their material in a workshop/classroom setting. “The Screenwriters Workbook” by Syd Field (ISBN: 440582253) is suggested, but not required.
Dates: Thursday, June 21 – August 16 (no meeting July 5)
