Gear Coop at SOCO Presents A Very Special Screening of Black Diamond and an Evening with Nalle Hukkataival

On Thursday, Monday, May 8 at 5:00 pm, join Nalle Hukkataival for a special screening of his short film, Black Diamond, which chronicles his journey to become the first man to climb the elusive “Lappnor Project” in his home country of Finland. He suggested V17 (9A) for the grade—the first V17 in the world. This is one of only four screenings of Black Diamond in the United States so you won't want to miss this very special evening! This event is free and open to the public. Beer and raffle tickets can be purchased with all profits going to support Friends of Joshua Tree. This is also a great opportunity to donate your retired ropes to Gear Coop Ambassador Kayla King, who will be collection those donations, taking orders and selling rugs made from the retired ropes of other climbers!
