Celebrate Mother’s Day with the Costa Mesa Historical Society at a special Speakers Program and Brunch featuring Costa Mesa’s own Greer Wylder, journalist, founder of Greer’s OC, and author of Born in OC: The Artists, Entrepreneurs, and Visionaries of Orange County, California. This engaging afternoon offers a meaningful way to honor mothers, grandmothers, and the influential women in our lives. Guests will enjoy a thoughtful and engaging presentation exploring the artists, entrepreneurs, and visionaries who have shaped Orange County’s cultural identity. Through storytelling and local insight, Wylder brings the region’s past and present to life in a way that resonates with both longtime residents and newcomers alike. Held at the Norma Hertzog Community Center, this welcoming community gathering invites attendees to connect through shared history, reflection, and conversation. Whether attending with family, friends, or on your own, guests will enjoy an afternoon centered on learning, connection, and appreciation for the stories that shape our community. The program will take place from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and includes a light brunch. Seating is limited, and early arrival is encouraged. Tickets are $60 for CMHS members and $75 for non-members.
