              Summer Knight’s Chess Camp – Ages 6-12
              Chess has been shown to improve critical thinking skills, increase attention span, help children deal with winning and losing, improve memory, help build confidence and patience, and improve problem solving abilities. This fun-packed week includes the development of daily chess strategy and tactics for all levels (beginning through advanced); outdoor interactive activities and games that reinforce chess principles; a giant chess set and board on-site (including at three-foot-tall king!), painting your own chess pieces; and an exclusive chess workbook. Students may sign up for multiple weeks as lessons are geared toward attending student’s abilities. Academic Chess emphasizes a sense of camaraderie, fun learning, and sportsmanship in all of its activities.
              Dates: Monday – Friday
              Session 4: July 23-27 (12:30 PM – 3:30 PM)
              Session 5: August 6-10 (9 AM -12 PM)
              Session 6: August 13-17 (9 AM -12 PM)
              Fee: $179


              LEGO Engineering – Ages 7-13
              Strategic Kids will get students working with LEGO’s while teaching a wide variety of engineering topics. Children will learn organizational and fine motor skills, as well as team work and other life strategies! Through this course the students will discover simple machines (gears, levers, pulleys) by engaging in fun activities and guided play. Each child will receive a LEGO gift along with a certification of participation on the last day of class.
              Dates: Monday – Friday, July 23-27
              Time: 9 AM – 12 PM
              Fee: $179


              Mommy (or Daddy) and Me Jewelry Beading
              Have special mommy (or daddy) and me time and become jewelry experts together by learning how to create amazing matching pieces of jewelry. These classes are for kids (and their parent) of all ages including teens. Material fee includes high-quality crystals, pearls, bicone beads, and magnetic clasps.
              Dates: Monday – Thursday, July 23-26
              Time: 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM
              Fee: $120


              Hand-Crafted Jewelry Beading for Kids and Teens – Ages 7+
              Parents – did you know that your kids can learn how to make their own gifts for those special occasions? In these classes, kids will learn about the many techniques of jewelry beading and develop their artistic minds to create their own jewelry designs, and impress their friends and loved ones. Material fee includes high-quality crystals, pears, bicone beads, and magnetic clasps.
              Dates: Monday – Thursday, July 23-26
              Time: 1 PM – 3 PM
              Fee: $120


              Doodling and Design – Ages 8+
              Join Parker Jacobs, one of the creators of the “Yo Gabba Gabba!” television show, in this introductory class where you’ll learn drawing, character design, improvisational storytelling, and branding. Learn how to create your own fictional characters and environments, role play with other students in collaborative comic strip adventures, and then translate that to marketable branding concepts. Each student will create a “show bible” of their own intellectual property. The course may include puppets and special guests.
              Dates: Monday – Thursday, July 23-26
              Time: 9 AM – 11 AM
              Fee: $89


              Young Entrepreneur Boot Camp – Launch Your First Business! Grades 5 – 6
              Introduce your child to the creative world of entrepreneurship. Students will learn the basics of business while creating their first startup. No business idea is required to take the course, however, students may use an idea they have already. At the end of the program, parents are welcome to watch their child present during Launch Day. Sign up early, enrollment limited to 12 students.
              Dates: Monday – Thursday, July 23-26
              Time: 9 AM – 12 PM
              Fee: $50
