Springboard Diving: Lessons
Learn how to dive in a fun and safe environment with McRobbie McLellan. McLellan’s experience coaching NCAA and NJCAA teams will make this class enjoyable for both youths and adults!

Business Networking & Breakfast Learning Series – Excel Tips and Tricks!
Learn shortcuts and tips to save time and effort, and create better spreadsheets. Jackie Strobel is a master trainer and teaches Microsoft Office classes at Orange Coast College and on-site business and industry through OCC’s Corporate Education division.

Intermediate Digital Photography
Take your photography to the next level! You’ll learn about camera menu features, metering modes, making photographs with improved color and detail, custom white balance, close-up and low-light photography and using the built-in camera flash. One Saturday morning field session (April 28, 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM) included.

Girls Night Out! Makeup Makeover
Learn the steps to properly apply your makeup by an award winning professional makeup artist! Bring your makeup from home and the instructor will teach you how to apply it according to your face shape, coloring, and comfort level.

Friday Night at the Movies! – The African Queen
In Africa during World War I, a gin-swilling riverboat captain is persuaded by a strait-laced missionary to use his boat to attack an enemy warship.
Along with showing the entirety of the film, “Friday Night at the Movies” will share the fascinating details of the film. Screenings are preceded by a 30-minute informative discussion about the film, which includes its origins, the script, casting, production, audience reaction, box office sales, and the legacy of the film.

Saturday, April 7
Blacksmithing – Beginning to Advanced
In this class, students will learn to think with their hands and utilize their brains in a different way than is typical in modern society. There are many different ways to work with metal, but blacksmithing is traditionally the one most concerned with solving problems of form, function, and fabrication. No previous experience is required, and all tools and materials will be supplied, though it is recommended to bring your own as you advance.

Art Survival – Develop Your Style and Voice for Your Artwork
Learn tools to help you evolve and thrive as an artist! You’ll expose the underbelly of the art scene to navigate the current attitudes and opportunities. Topics include how to: develop a cohesive body of work, build and maintain your own website, find a market for your art, price your work, maintain a healthy attitude toward our artwork and toward yourself as an artist.

Sustainability Series: Green Home, Family and Community
This course will highlight ways in which you can green up your home, neighborhood, and community. We will highlight green cleaning strategies, shopping tips, energy and water conservation ideas, and creative reuse. We will also discuss ways in which you can create a greater sense of community through sustainable sharing.

Adventure Travel to Europe for Beginners on a Budget
Hear insights and best practices on how to travel on a small budget, prepare for 1-2 week trips, travel with a small group, travel solo, build a travel plan, find budget-friendly tours, find deals on airfare, minimize costs, accommodations (hotels, hostels, guest house), and many other considerations to help make sure you get the most out of your adventure!
