About Us

The Nest was born to serve the community.

The Nest was created with community in mind. Responding to the need to provide newly licensed Therapist Associates a location where they could continue to commune with other Queer and Allied Therapists in their education and training in the treatment of LGBTQ, Neurodivergent, Couples, Queer Teens, Poly, Kink, and Allies in the Costa Mesa/Newport area. The Nest is devoted to our community, social justice, and creating levity in an often chaotic world.

Individuals, Couples, Family Counseling & Coaching

How we can help: Many of our clients come in wanting direction with emotions, life, relationships, etc. After spending time with their therapist, clients begin to feel like the therapist has their back. When you like your therapist, you are able to work on anything with them.

We work to provide a safe environment where individuals, couples, and families can come to work on their concerns that can include life changes, employment stressors, anxiety, depression, spiritual health, and relational challenges.

We encourage people to move at their own pace so as to listen for the space where change can occur. We incorporate Narrative, Solution Focused, Internal Family Systems, and Post Modern Therapies in the way we conceptualize our work.

We have done extensive work with gay, lesbian, bisexual, queer, questioning and transgender populations, including working with their respective families. This includes addressing concerns such as trust, conflict, loss, abuse, and transition in relationships.
